Shipping Policy

Last updated 12 August 2026

CARACAL ships worldwide from Nairobi, Kenya. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery destination and the number of items in your order, and is shown in full before you pay.

Processing time

In-stock orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment being confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

Custom orders are made to order and follow a 2–4 week production timeline before dispatch. Delivery estimates below apply from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.

Destinations and rates

Rates are charged in Kenyan shillings at the exchange rate applied at checkout, and displayed in the currency you are browsing in. The figures below are for a single item; each additional item in the same order adds a share of the rate, calculated automatically at checkout.

DestinationRate (first item)Estimated delivery
Kenya$31–3 days
Africa (rest of)$155–10 days
United States$307–14 days
United Kingdom$307–14 days
Canada$357–14 days
Vietnam₫200,0007–14 days
China$97–14 days
Rest of world$3510–18 days

All deliveries are handled by Caracal courier. If your country is not listed, it falls under “Rest of world”.

Delivery estimates are estimates

The timeframes above are business-day estimates from dispatch, not guarantees. Customs inspection, courier backlogs, weather and public holidays can extend them, and none of these are within our control. We will not treat an order as lost until the estimate has passed by a clear margin, and we will keep you updated if that happens.

Import duties, taxes and customs clearance

Orders shipping outside Kenya are sent delivery duty unpaid. Any import duties, customs charges, VAT or handling fees levied by the destination country are not included in the price you pay at checkout. These are charged by your government, not by CARACAL, and we have no way to calculate, collect or waive them in advance.

Customs clearance is the buyer's responsibility. On an international order you are the importer of record. That means you are responsible for clearing the parcel through customs in your country, for paying any duties, taxes or broker fees assessed on it, and for providing any documentation your customs authority asks for. We cannot clear a parcel on your behalf or pay charges raised in your country.

Please confirm what you will be charged before you order. Import thresholds and duty rates vary widely between countries and change without notice. Check with your local customs authority or a customs broker for your destination, so the total landed cost is known to you before you buy rather than a surprise on delivery. If you are unsure, message us before ordering and we will tell you the declared value, weight and product description that will appear on the customs declaration.

Duties left unpaid are the single most common reason an international parcel is refused or destroyed. If a parcel is refused, abandoned at customs, or returned to us for unpaid charges, see Refused and undeliverable parcels in our Refund Policy — charges we are billed for a returned parcel are deducted from any credit issued.

Delivery addresses

Please make sure your delivery address is complete and correct at checkout, including any building name, floor, estate or landmark needed to find you. We ship to the address given on the order. If you spot a mistake, contact us immediately — we can usually correct it before dispatch, but not after.

We are not able to refund or replace an order that is delivered correctly to an address you supplied incorrectly.

Tracking

We will confirm dispatch and share tracking details, where available for your destination, over WhatsApp or email using the contact details on your order.
